Delivery & Returns

*IMPORTANT: Please note we are working on a reduced delivery schedule due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) to protect our workforce. We are currently despatching orders on a weekly basis while ensuring social distancing measures are adhered to. We expect this reduced service to continue until at least the 14th April 2020, but this date may be extended based on government guidelines. Any orders placed now will be processed on this new schedule and we thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.

Delivery

We currently offer delivery to the Mainland UK.  We can also deliver to the Channel Islands and Southern Ireland but please call into the office for delivery costs to these areas. Unfortunately, we are only able to ship internationally for bulk orders (over £1000) by special arrangement.

Free Delivery is available on orders over £50 and a selection of other products, this will be shown at checkout.

Courier and Delivery Charges

Orders will be sent via courier and will require a signature on receipt. Please allow up to three working days for delivery. If delivery is unsuccessful, we will notify you of the local collection depot by leaving a postcard through the letterbox. Again, during busy periods or extreme weather conditions there may be a slightly extended lead time for delivery.

A £5 delivery charge will be applied to all kitchen sink products, these items will be put on a fragile service with APC Couriers. 

All products will be delivered via APC Couriers who are currently using ‘No Contact Delivery Practice’ methods during the COVID-19 pandemic. To read more please visit their website here

We aim to despatch goods ordered before 12 noon the same working day and for all orders after 12 noon the following day, except for clearance line items which may take 2 – 3 days to dispatch from order. * 

Please note that we are closed for around two weeks over the Christmas Holiday period, on Bank Holidays and at weekends.

Unfortunately, our warehouses are unable to make orders available for collection in person, for reasons of security and Health & Safety.

You must notify us within two working days in the unusual event that your order arrives damaged; otherwise you accept that the delivery was perfect on arrival.

Order Cancellation

You may cancel an order by contacting us directly by phone on 01226 283434.  At this point we will check on the status of your order and confirm whether it has already been processed. If not, we might be able to cancel the order and offer a refund within ten working days.  If the order has already been dispatched then it will be treated as a return, please see the returns section for further details.

Returns

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase or you have changed your mind, then you are able to return your item. Simply contact us by telephone on 01226 283434 or email sales@abode.eu within 48 hours of receipt of your order quoting your order reference and the product code.

All goods must be returned along with our Returns Form. Please click here to download the RETURNS FORM which MUST be completed in full.

The goods returned must not have been opened or used and be in a re-saleable condition for us to offer a refund.

Unfortunately, we can only refund the cost of the product and not the original postage charge.

We recommend you use a suitable postal service that allows you to track your parcel for all items to be returned. The cost of returning the product will not be borne by Abode. The address for returns is as follows:
