Care of RemaStone Basins & Shelves
Cleaning Guidelines

- To maintain the appearance of this product, ensure that it is regularly cleaned using only a clean, soft damp cloth. A solution of warm water and a mild liquid non-antibacterial detergent or a nonabrasive PH neutral cleaner may be used where necessary, rinse the product thoroughly and wipe dry.
For stubborn stains use a very mild bleach solution, dilute 10% bleach (max) to 90% water, clean the affected area immediately then rinse the whole basin thoroughly with water.
To remove limescale use a mild domestic limescale remover.
Do not use a strong alkali solution on the basin or shelf.
To prevent damage no other industrial or domestic chemicals or solvents should come into contact with this product.
To prevent staining or discolouration of the product always rinse the basin or shelf with water after use, if you live in a hard water area, we suggest you also wipe the sink dry.
Repeated release of boiling hot water directly into coloured basins can in extreme cases cause crazing and even cracking. Therefore, we recommend great care is taken not to release the boiling water directly on to the basin surface. - Do not use metallic objects in the basin. Avoid impacting the product with sharp or heavy objects, such as knives or scissors also avoid contact with abrasives.
Restoring the Matt surface after inadvertently using mild abrasive cleaners
We do not advise the use of mild abrasive cleaners; this will polish the matt surface of the shelf or basin.
If you find that the surface has become shiny you can restore the matt finish by very lightly rubbing the surface with a mild Scotch-Brite pad in a circular motion.
