This genuine Safelock high resin water filter cartridge is designed for use with Abode Aquifier water filter taps. This version is the recommended replacement filter if you live in a hard water area as it will deal with scale and hardness more effectively. The cartridge is packed with granules of activated carbon. When water passes through the filter, the numerous carbon granules trap particles and remove dissolved substances in the water. Carbon will also reduce levels of various impurities from your domestic cold water supply. This is a replacement filter cartridge only so excludes pipes and connection/mounting kit. Changing your filter is a simple DIY process, the filter has a simple push-fit installation into the existing filter housing.
